Watford Museum can be found on the site of the old Benskins Brewery. This was founded in 1722 by John Pope at New Street. In 1820 the Brewery was moved to Lower High Street by his Great Grandson, Jonh Dyson.
In 1867, Joseph Benskin bought the property which included 42 Public Houses. It was later registered in July 1894. Ind Coope accquired the Brewery in 1957 and all brewing had ceaased by 1972 with 636 tied houses.
The Brewery buildings were demolished in 1978 but the offices were converted into Watford Museum.

On a recent visit to the Museum we were able to take photos whilst looking at the exhibits and had some interesting results, especially within the Green Room where the Cassiobury Portrait Collection is on display.
In the two photos above, two small orbs can be seen at the entrance to the hall. In the second picture, they have moved away from the entrance stairs and are infront of the door.
In this next photo, there are now more orbs visible. At this point we were the only people present.
As we progressed around the room, we had the feeling that there was a presence there with us, following.
Later on, in the afternoon, a talk was given about the history of Watford Palace Theatre which is also reputed to be haunted. During the talk there was a sensation of a temperature drop now and then and once the talk had finished some large, bright orbs were photographed.

These two pictures are enlargements of the orbs in the first photo.

In the first photo, two orbs can be spotted on the chairs near to the front and the second is another enlargement of an orb.
