" seek and ye shall find "

Training Day At The Hellfire Caves

                                 SEEK AND YE SHALL FIND

Arriving at the caves just after 10am there were a few visitors but in general  it was quiet. A light breakfast and an update from the Manageress, Julienne and we were ready for the off.

On entering the Caves the ambient temperature was 9 degrees however it did feel cooler. At the first junction, The Tool Store, the temperature dipped for a moment and Gary felt  uneasy. Continuing down the tunnel to the Stewards Cave, Zoe felt pressure in her head and continued down to the beginning of the Twenty Two Tunnel. At this point Zoe stopped and said that she really didn't want to go on however we all continued on down the tunnel to 'The Cataombes. Photos had been taken all the way down this tunnel and it appeared that 'orbs' were present both behind us and ahead of us.

We then took the left hand path into the Catacombes where Zoe stopped abruptly and was completely overcome by a feeling of intense sadness. She was still feeling the pressure in her head and was also  physically shaken and unsteady.  Unable to continue, we all returned to the Cafe to give Zoe a chance to collect herself and discuss what had just happened.

After another coffee we returned. Again photos were taken and 'orbs were still present.  Upon reaching the Catacombes again we decided to take the right hand path this time but Zoe couldn't continue. She had an extreme feeling  and no amount of persuasion would change her mind. The extreme sadness and lonliness was still there. Nothing out of the ordinary registered on the EMF meter. Zoe also felt that something was right next to her on her righthand side but again nothing was found on photos.

This is the area where in the past  Charlie and a Cave member of staff also called Charlie were walking past chatting and were loudly 'shushed'. They had both continued and were again 'shushed' in the tunnel exiting the Great Hall.

Also in this area we have photographed a golden orb which appears to be moving (see gallery).

At this point Charlie and Gary decided to continue down whilst Fiona and Zoe returned to the Cafe to discuss what had happened. Zoe was really pale and physically shaken by the experience even though on previous visits to the cave she has been right down to the Inner Temple without any problems at all.

As Fiona and Zoe walked back along the 'Twenty Two' tunnel there was an extremely cold spot just before we entered the Circle and a mist was seen by both of them.It took a while once outside for Zoe to begin to feel better.

Meanwhile Charlie and Gary, moving through the caves had been recording temperatures which in the main remained a constant 9 degrees but a few cold spots were noted in the Triangle. Nothing was detected with the EMF meter except in the Triangle where it bleeped a couple of times although why this should have happened is inconclusive.

Gary sat in the right hand tunnel of the triangle this is the area where the  disfigured preist or monk is picked up on by mediums.Intresting light in the right hand photo, the object in garys hand is an e.m.f meter it did make an audible sound at this point twice, there was no tempreture change ,a steady 9 degrees.Gary had the feeling at this point that there was some sort of presence nearby. At this point we were joined by another paranormal investigator called mark from biggleswade.Iam hoping he will post his thoughts in our forum soon.

HMMM er Gary, its ermm, in front of you.               darkness settles on gary.

After a very good day we went back to the cafe to talk over the days events,on the whole i think we had a great days ghost hunting.Well done team.

Mist, orbs and maybe a dark shape.

A good day was had and some great photos taken ,Zoe had some realy good moments tuning into some energy sources and even gary said the feeling he had in the triangle area was intense. We find every visit to the caves produces good photographic work and the personal feelings each person has leaves an impression , more visits are being arranged. This is a great location and a great source for investigations ,the caves are very helpful and bookings for private functions can be made.Have fun and feel free to send any photos or stories in to us .
