TOP TIPS FOR TAKING ORB PHOTOS.
THINGS TO AVOID.
1. Always make sure the lens is clean. Dirt or water can cause orb like effects.
2.Check your not getting light interference from an outside source.
3. Try and keep the camera still.
4. Be aware of reflected light sauces especially when using a flash.
5.Reflective surfaces can cause strange phenomena such as ghostly figures and orbs.
6.Raindrops or air moisture can also effect the photos.
7.Mirrors and windows can cause some strange reflective phenomena.
8.Cold weather elements can cause strange pics - ice crystals,mist,fog and snow or even your own breath.
9.The sun too can create some strange effects .
10. Be aware of your camera's abilities ie. shutter speeds,pixels,distance from object.
THINGS TO TRY
1.Try to have a size reference in your photo like an object of known size.
2.Take photos of places with a history of hauntings.
3.Research your target area for any references to places where other photos have had results.
4.Attempt to have someone else photo at the same time with another camera to try and confirm your photos.
5.When photographing people try to capture the area to the side and or above them.
6. Any human activity can attract paranormal attention so try to get people into your photos.
7.Take lots of photos.
8.Photograph over your shoulder ie behind you .
9. Have other people photograph you.
10.Always check the backgrounds in your photos eg. look closely into windows .
11.Digital cameras using flash seem to capture the best results.
12. Try photos using the full light spectrum ie. infra red.
13.Take photos in areas where animals seem to have shown an interest but on the surface there's nothing there.
14.In the dark, stand still and photo at random.

In the picture above there seems to be an orb rising from behind the gravestone,but on a return visit we discovered a white plastic marker was the culprit. So if possible once you have found something strange try to return and recreate the photo.

These photos were taken at Aldenham graveyard only fi and charlie were in the area.Whilst scanning the picture, Gary one of our investigators found this figure in a photo taken by Charlie. The grave is a family grave with boy of 12, a mother of 38 and father of 45, all died around the turn of the 20th century.
Allowing for the height of the gravestone, the figure must be quite small about the size of a twelve year old ?
