The Alley Way in question is situated in Bushey, Hertfordshire and is a regularly used  path.

During the 1970's a figure was often reported in the area by a resident so the local council had a street lamp situated to light up this alley way.

We have photographed this area on a number of occasions and have taken a few dark photos - where the camera works in its normal way but the picture comes out completely black until downloaded onto a computer where light can be flooded into the picture.

Aproximately 50 yards into the alley way is a disused electricity station . This is fenced off and there are no buildings on this site. The street light is near to this. We have photographed an orb in this area more than once.

On the evening of March 8th 2009, whilst walking to another destination , we had taken a few steps into the alley way when the street lamp switched off leaving us in complete darkness  A second later the light came back on again.  This set bells ringing as street lights tend to flicker if they are faulty or glow red before turning orange when switched on.

 Photos were taken and observations made. The results were quite interesting.

                           This picture was one of the dark one's that has had light added to it.
