 St.James Church can be found in Bushey Village High Street and there has been a church on this site since the 13th Century. Originally it consisted of a chancel and a long nave with the West Tower being added in the 15th Century. The Church underwent a huge restoration in 1871 where more features were added.

The interior of the Church is also both ancient and new. The high beams and the roof in the nave date back to the 15th Century. The pulpit dates back to the early 17th Century and a large boxed in pew allegedly for the Lord of the Manor dates back to the 18th Century.

Church records for this Parish were started in 1684 and before this the Bishop of St. Albans kept transcripts going back to 1581.

 Here are some photos taken in the evening about 11ish. This old churchyard has lots of atmosphere and orbs. A greater indepth investigation will be undertaken in the next couple of months.

 This photo was taken just before 12 midday on a tues morning. The following photos were taken at the same time. In the one above there is another orb just to the left of the window far left of photo.

The orb was first photographed at the cross base and then above the cross. 

  This orb was taken on the same day as the orb by the cross. Slightly earlier the orb is on the tomb of Silas Tytus (hope i got the name right).

18-11-08 - A quick stroll round the graveyard and half a dozon photos yielded this very bright orb. The night was dry and bright but crisp enough to be able to see your breath. Although we did not see this orb both Fi and I said at the same time that we had the feeling we were being watched .
